We only ask for what we need to plan your tour and reply to you. This page explains what that is, why we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
National Georgiagraphic runs day tours from Batumi, Adjara, Georgia. We are responsible for the personal details you share through this website and when you message us. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean National Georgiagraphic.
What we collect
When you send a booking request, we collect the tour and option you chose, your date, the number of guests, your name, how to contact you and any message you add.
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, how to contact you and your message. When you message us on WhatsApp, Viber or Telegram, we receive what you send us there along with your phone number or username.
To stop spam, our server briefly checks how many requests come from the same internet (IP) address. The address is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form and is not used for anything else.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies for visitors and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The only cookie we use keeps our own team signed in to the private area where we manage tours.
We remember your chosen website language in your browser’s local storage. You can change it using the language switcher.
How we use your details
- To reply to your questions and booking requests.
- To plan your tour and contact you about it, including changes for weather or safety.
- To keep a record of the bookings we have made.
- To protect the website against spam and abuse.
We do not sell your details, and we do not send you marketing messages.
Who we share them with
- The guide and driver for your tour, and any activity partner involved in it, only as much as they need to run the day.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and stores booking requests and messages on our behalf.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this website. Your browser downloads them from Google, which receives your IP address when it does.
- WhatsApp, Viber or Telegram, if you choose to message us there. Their own privacy policies apply.
We may also share details where the law requires it. Some of these services store data outside Georgia; they protect it under their own data protection commitments.
How long we keep them
We keep booking requests and messages for as long as we need them to handle your request and keep our booking records. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them or stop using them. Under the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection, and the GDPR if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to a data protection authority. In Georgia, that is the Personal Data Protection Service.
Children
Bookings are made by adults. If you tell us the ages of children in your group, we use them only to plan a suitable tour.
